| Xenadrine Hardcore And CLA - Posted by tristonv (1 Reply, Updated 10/22/2008 11:24:09) | | (Log in to post your reply) | tristonv | 04/23/2007 04:24:04 | Message: I wanted to let everyone know that I have been using Xenadrine Hardcore and taking 3000mg of CLA a day and have seen fantastic results!
I never liked the old Xenadrine but the Hardcore is very different. I can only take 1 capsule and then take 1000mg capsule of CLA 3 times daily.
I have been lifting heavy and doing 30 minutes 5 days a week on the EFX elliptical Glider.
Still losing so things are going well.
Anyone else tried Hardcore yet? Results?

| Loosing 20 Kg - Posted by karamany (2 Replies, Updated 04/14/2008 11:47:50) | | (Log in to post your reply) | karamany | 04/09/2006 06:46:55 | Message: Hi All,
I lost 20 Kg in about 3 months by doing the following:
(1) Wake up by 6: 00AM
(2) Take 2 "Hot Rox" tablets (2 in the early morning, another two 6 hours after that)
(2) Make some abs exercises
(3) Practise in the tredmill for about 45 minutes (in the begining it was mostly walking, then more and more start to be fit to run)
(4) Take shower before taking breakfast yet (trying to leave the body continue burning fat)
(5) Then eat 2 boiled eggs for the breakfast, sometimes much more than this
(6) During the day I used to eat about 3 or 4 meals, not a heavy ones, but a lot of fruits
-- the important thing and what I believe that made me able to loose that weight, is the training in the morning before eating my breakfast - but eating good breakfast is so important.
The tablets actually helped because it made me burn more
Good Luck everyone

| Quicker weight loss - Posted by tstone1984 | | (Log in to post your reply) | tstone1984 | 02/02/2007 02:35:47 | Message: Guys,
This is my first post so....Hello.
The best way I used to find to kick start weight loss during periods of heavy training was the ECA stack. I'm sure most of you of heard of it (EPhedrine, Caffine and Asprin) but unfortunatley its now banned. It was replaced by Thermobol Hydroxy Cut and some of the others you mentioned but dispite the claims are no where near as effective.
I must admit I do use the above still but I also have some other good advice that contributes dramitically to my %fat loss not strictly pure weight loss.
1. Take a caffine pill or strong coffee before working out - This improves focues and enables you to go that extra little distance if running for example and hence burns up more cals.
2.Take a calcium supplement with foods. Some reports shows calcium binds to fat in foods making them insoluble in the digestive tract.
3. Get a low carb protein supplement with Glutamine in it. This does two things....helps replair muscles so you ready for your next workout quicker and fills you up.
4. Take CLA and linseed oil capsules every day.
5. Increase your distance/speed/weight EVERY week otherwise you'll platau.
6. Drink gallons of water. If your body is in a constant state of hydration it wont hold onto water just incase you need it. Also water helps to speed up metabolism.
7. Dont do atkins but lower you carb level and increase your protein intake.
8. This is a little more random but it worked for me. Use chop sticks. Serious. It takes so long to eat your food that you usually give up lol. I gave them the name starvation sticks!
Cheers
Tom

She's lost 43# and I lost 55#. Due to some emotional setbacks we put back a few pounds and we're trying to get back. We've modified the regular WW plan to include low GL carbs.
We both excerise regularly, She 23-25 min treadmill (3.3 mph @ 5 deg.) 6x a week. Me, strength training 3x a week and aerobic for a least 30 minutes 3x a week, cycling (12 mph)when weather permits treadmill (3.8 mph jog) when it doesn't.
Can anyone recommend a supplement to help kick start our weight loss journey. We've tried Cortislim and Cell Activator. Can anyone suggest something?

but dont use l-carnitine...
l-carnitine works perfect in theory, but in the real life it has a very little effect...
its just another "magic pill" that u spend money on but it doesnt work...
my best guess is that you made a very good ballance between your good diet and your workout!

If you eat the right foods, 5-6 small meals a day, you won't need supps. Having said that, I have found that a good whey protein, like Optimum Nutrition, and a good amino acid together will help you recover faster. I think it works good for older folks like myself not get so sore after a workout.

The main benefit I get from using any supplements (meal replacement type) is that they allow you to get an exact number of calories you want, along with the protein/carb amounts you want. Plus, sometimes it's easier to drink a shake than it is to have a meal.
One thing I've always done that seems to help me, is to drink a protein shake (I've tried several different kinds) around 20 minutes after my workout, right after my apetite starts to kick back up again.

I also take some Whey protein in the afternoons (20 minutes after my workout on workout days, as a snack every non-workout day).
My goal is NOT weight loss though, so anyone trying to lose weight would probably not want to add 1600 calories to their diet in one shot like that.
